The Steering Committee takes strategic scientific decisions with regards to the BCQ19’s priorities, as the pandemic evolves, and ensures that the BCQ19’s Management Framework remains aligned with those priorities. It manages databases as well as the inventory of samples collected and core analyses of them, and enables the scientific community to access these resources, as determined by the BCQ19’s independent access committee. The Steering Committee also ensures that the BCQ19’s scientific impact is widely disseminated and shared, in particular through the development of national and international partnerships.
