We are helping to curb the COVID-19 pandemic by providing the world’s researchers with materials and data from human subjects. These resources allow them to better understand the SARS-CoV-2 infection at the molecular level.

The Biobanque québécoise de la COVID-19 (BQC19) stores and shares blood samples from both severe and non-severe cases of Quebec COVID-19 patients, as well as from control individuals. It makes samples, as well as data, available to scientists such as immunologists, virologists and public health researchers.

As COVID-19 remains a public health challenge, the BQC19 and its partners will continue to bring about national and international research collaborations by providing access to its important resources.
